About Us

Colorado Wool Company began as an alpaca farm.  Crafting was always a passion, but crafting with natural fiber and fiber blends took things to a whole new level!  We bought our own fiber processing equipment and began traveling the country participating in fiber festivals and yarn conventions.  When Covid shut the world down, we relocated to the mountains of Colorado.  We fell in love with the Salida area and community, and decided to continue what we love doing HERE!  Expanding on what we did at trade shows, we decided to carry a full line of arts and crafts supplies and invite local artists to join us to create a one of a kind shopping experience!
